We strive to and are proud to sponsor and support many local charities and events through out the year. Being a local company with homegrown employees and ownership we understand the importance of keeping our community strong. In 2012 Waste-Co built our very own Signature PINK Bin which is used at various local events to collect up to 1000 bottles and cans. In 2014 we built a 2nd BIG BLUE Bottle bin as the PINK BIN was becoming a popular item to have at events! You can’t miss them that’s for sure! The proceeds from each of these bins have proudly been given to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society and the Alberta Cancer Foundation, we firmly believe in the importance of raising awareness and supporting these very worthy causes.
We are also proud to have provided and supported the following local community events over the past years, and are always looking for ways to help out the communities we service.

Aspire Special Needs, Ms Society, Alberta Cancer Foundation, Schizophrenia Society, The Breast Cancer Foundation, and the Women’s Shelter, SPCA Shelter, ALS Society, John Howard Society, Bearberry Wapitana Society, Habitat for Humanity and more!!
One of our proudest moments in 2014:
Waste-Co collected over 1000 pairs of shoes from Mud Hero, cleaned them with the outstanding help of Jet Uniform, sorted and repacked them according to sizes and then donated these newly cleaned shoes to the Loaves and Fishes in Red Deer. The amount of shoes collected was so overwhelming we were able to also ship shoes to schools in Kenya and in Belize!!! It’s amazing what you can do when you have great people working together as a team who also value giving back!!
If you have an event where you would like to welcome an opportunity to work with us for a cause you hold close to your heart, please contact us, we would be happy to provide it for you!
